We understand that cybersecurity and compliance can quickly become complicated — particularly for organizations supporting the Defense Industrial Base. Requirements evolve. Technologies change. Acronyms multiply. And what looks straightforward on paper rarely feels that way in practice.

Megin Kennett | Founder & Managing Director
Megin Kennett founded K2 Consulting Solutions with a simple philosophy: understand where clients need to go, make the path clearer, and help them get there in a practical and affordable way.
With more than 20 years of experience spanning technology, cybersecurity, marketing, business development, and consulting, Megin has built her career around connecting people, solving problems, and translating complicated requirements into something organizations can actually act on.
A Virginia Tech graduate with deep ties to the technology and defense communities, Megin brings both business perspective and a longstanding appreciation for public service to K2's mission. She has been recognized as one of Inside Business' Top 40 Under 40 and has served organizations and initiatives throughout Hampton Roads and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Today, she leads K2 alongside a trusted team of cybersecurity professionals and military veterans committed to helping organizations protect what matters and confidently navigate what comes next.
